  Lovely hotel. Relaxing spa facilities included and amazing food. Worth paying for a superior room and the extras that go with it like a Nespresso machine and robes.

  Pretty good hotel we booked one of the bigger rooms and it was very nice. The bar is a little uninviting but good staff made it friendly. If I were to stay again I wouldn't return to the restaurant. I returned my meal which they were fine with but the chef's second attempt wasn't great either. There also seemed a rush on to get you out of the room which didn't feel very welcoming. Ok on the whole but I won't be returning. My wife had some spa treatments and she said they were very good. Expensive overall​ given the level of finish and service

  Had a conference here which was well organised with very good food - although a few more vegetarian options would have been good. Staff were attentive and efficient. The main room was a bit hot and stuffy and one of the speakers was buzzing a little loudly. They have very attractive grounds which we did make the most of. The Rhododendron could do with clearance and some native bluebell wood would be good to see. Overall a good experience from this limited use
